About Heather
Heather Safken is a Visionary Leader, Strategic Planner and Bridge Builder coupled with a Master’s Degree and background in Education. With 10 years’ experience as the Director for After School and Early Childhood programs in rural communities, she wrote multiple grants and had a 78% success rate. She served with the City and County of San Francisco as the co-facilitator of the racial equity mindset and strategy for the department, facilitated development with funding cycles, organizational needs assessments and scoring of grants. All this will bring guidance to you for what grant readers will be looking for! In 2023 alone Heather successfully wrote over $13 Million in grants and looks forward to supporting the growth of your organization!
